At Arkki International, we believe that nurturing a sense of environmental responsibility and sustainable thinking from an early age is essential for creating a better future. Creative architecture education and built environment education give children and young people essential skills to understand, assess, improve and envision better architecture, design, built environments and cities.
We envision a world where architectural innovation and environmental consciousness go hand in hand. We strive to equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and inspiration they need to design spaces and environments that are not only beautiful and functional but also environmentally friendly and socially responsible.
Responsibility guides both our educational content, teaching and training as well as our choices and operations as a business.

Sustainability in our educational content
Life-long learning
Arkki programmes promote joy of learning, curiosity as well as playful learning that is in our view the basis for learning and becoming a life-long learner.
A good learning environment
A safe physical, mental and social environment is crucial for learning and creating. Arkki workshops provide a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages taking creative risks by exploring new topics and testing crazy ideas.
Active citizenship
We emphasize the social aspect of sustainability, teaching children how architecture can foster community interaction, improve quality of life, and support local cultures.
Sustainable design
Our projects encourage participants to think critically on what is good design as well as sustainable choices and solutions.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
We take pride in finding innovative use of recycled materials and giving them a new life in the model-making workshops. All materials used in our activities are sorted, separated, and recycled according to the type; paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, glass… Let´s together take care of natural resources!
